KC AI Pet Match publishes reunion stories only after a person has reviewed them and the reporter has authorised a public listing. Neither is assumed, and neither is inferred from a match score.
No reunion stories are published yet. This page will list them once cases begin completing that review. We do not publish example or illustrative reunions — on a lost-and-found service, a made-up story is indistinguishable from a real one, and it would make every genuine story here worth less.
What a published story will and will not contain
A published reunion story shows the pet’s approved public name, a sanitised photograph, a general city and state, a short approved summary, and the reunion date where the reporter has approved it for public display.
It never shows an owner’s name, an email address, a phone number, a home address, an exact recovery location, private notes, or any internal case information. Locations are shown as text at city level, and photographs have their location and camera metadata removed before storage.
In the meantime, see the Kansas City Pet Events Calendar.
