What a public report will show
A public listing is deliberately limited. It shows enough to recognise an animal and nothing that identifies the person who reported it.
Shown publicly
- Species, breed impression, colours and markings
- Size, coat and sex where known
- General area — city, not a street address
- Date lost or found
- Approved photographs
- KCAI case number and status
Never shown publicly
- Name, phone number or email address
- Exact street address or precise coordinates
- Private notes and medical details
- Management links
- Microchip numbers
- Anything a reporter did not consent to display
